1975 - Present - Carrying on a general practise of law in Drumheller as a private practitioner, including real estate, mortgages, leases, commercial sales and leases, incorporations and corporate matter both Provincial and Federal, Wills and estates, estate planning and farm estate planning.
Our History
In 1920, William R. Sandercock started his law practise in the Town of Drumheller. Stanley S. Schumacher joined Mr. Sandercock in 1966 and W. Harry Gough joined the firm in 1985.
Our firm has evolved over the years to become Schumacher Gough & Company, maintaining its office at its current location since 1997 at the corner of 2nd Street and 3rd Avenue West, in what was once the Post Office Building in Drumheller.
Schumacher Gough & Company provides general laws services for Drumheller and surrounding area with an emphasis on corporate, commercial, wills, estate planning and estate administration, as well as real estate including urban, commercial and rural, sales and leases.

We currently maintain over 305 companies as their registered office and ensure the timely preparation and filing of annual returns. Our Level II trained corporate staff can generate corporate documentation and register same online for our clients. We work with accountants as required by our corporate clients to complete and register documentation for tax and estate planning purposes as well as corporate sales and sale of assets, Unanimous shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, joint ventures and contracts.

We have substantial experience in assisting our clients with their estate planning including drafting of wills, trusts, enduring powers of attorney and personal directives. We can also assist with applications for Probate and Letters of Administration.
